Now Hiring: Senior Java Engineer

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)

Clearance Required: Top Secret (SSBI) with CI Poly

Relocation: Open to candidates willing to relocate

We are hiring a Senior Java Engineer to support a Federal Contractor in Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for candidates with strong backend development experience, cloud exposure, and a background in secure, mission-critical environments.

Basic Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry

• 8+ years of related professional experience

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java development

• Experience with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks (jQuery, OpenLayers, etc.)

• Strong experience with Spring Framework, Hibernate

• Database experience: Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB

• Experience building and maintaining SOAP, REST APIs, RMI interfaces

• Familiarity with XML, WSDL, Web Services protocols

• Experience with dependency management tools (Maven, Gradle, Ivy)

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure

• Proficiency with Git or other distributed version control systems

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of the GEOINT domain

• Experience with Agile, TDD, CI/CD pipelines

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes (container technologies)

• Experience with JIRA and Atlassian tools
