Oremony Design Corp - Production Assistant

Oremony Design Corp is an independent bridal design and manufacturing house based in Vancouver, Canada. As the proud parent company to brands Truvelle, Laudae, Aesling, we are all about bringing fresh wedding wear options to the modern bride. We design and manufacture all of our own lines in our inspiring Vancouver headquarters. We’re about individual style. We’re obsessed with quality. We are seeking a Production Cutter to join our team!

Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm
Location: Vancouver

Responsibilities:

Production Assistant

1. Shipments

A key responsibility includes receiving weekly fabric shipments, which involves handling pallets, unpacking, organizing materials, and managing cardboard and waste disposal.

Receive, organize, and track all fabric shipments and pallets
Receive, organize, and track all factory shipments
Maintain accurate logs of incoming goods
Ensure materials are properly labeled and stored
2. Backroom Organization

Maintain a clean, organized, and functional backroom
Ensure all materials are accessible and easy to locate
Support efficient flow of goods through production
3. Quality Control & Preparation for the seamstresses

Double check fabric, cut pieces, and everything needed to sew a gown. Make sure there are no fabric defects, and that the pieces were cut properly using the correct pattern.
Log and organize packages
Pair, prepare, and verify pre-cut skirts for our seamstresses.
This position is physically demanding and repetitive, requiring strong endurance, organization, and a high level of attention to detail. You will be working with pre-cut fabrics, so it is important to understand patterns and. Prior pattern or sewing knowledge is required.

Our production environment is fast-paced and consistently busy, so the role requires strong focus, consistency, speed, and the ability to maintain high-quality work under pressure.

Requirements:

Experience in a garment, fashion, or apparel factory or any production-based role
Experience reading patterns and gown construction
