LEGAL EXECUTIVE – LEGAL RECOVERY (NBFC)

Location: Cochin (Kochi), Thrissur Kerala
Experience: 1–3 Years (NBFC – Vehicle Finance Preferred)
Qualification: LLB (Mandatory)
Salary: Best in Industry

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

✔ Handling Loss on Sale Recovery portfolio, including recovery of post-auction shortfall from borrowers & guarantors

✔ Initiating and managing Arbitration proceedings under loan agreements

✔ Filing and pursuing Section 9 & 17 Applications

✔ Execution of arbitral awards and recovery proceedings

✔ Handling SARFAESI proceedings, repossession & sale compliance

✔ Managing Cheque Bounce (NI Act Sec 138) cases

✔ Filing police complaints in fraud / absconding / vehicle tracing matters

✔ Drafting recall notices, legal notices, complaints, affidavits, counter affidavits & written statements

✔ Coordinating with panel advocates & monitoring litigation MIS

✔ Regular court appearances & recovery follow-ups

SKILLS REQUIRED:

✔ Negotiation and settlement closure of vehicle loan bad-debt accounts, including Loss on Sale Recovery cases

✔ Sound knowledge of SARFAESI Act, NI Act, Arbitration & Conciliation Act and Consumer Laws

✔ Ability to independently handle high-value NPA recovery portfolio

✔ Field visits to customers and guarantors for discussions and resolution of overdue / NPA or Loss on Sale accounts
