Tā mātou arawātea | Our Opportunity:

Are you an organised, tech-savvy coordinator who loves variety, thrives on juggling multiple priorities, and enjoys working with people across an entire organisation? If you’re looking for a role that’s meaningful, people-focused, and genuinely fun – this could be your next great move! This role is a fixed term 12 month contract covering parental leave.

Tāu e mahi ai | What you'll be doing:

Working as part of our PX Development Team, you’ll help deliver initiatives that uplift leadership capability, strengthen our culture and improve the overall people experience across Mercury.

This role is wonderfully varied – perfect for someone who enjoys doing a bit of everything. From coordinating workshops and onboarding programmes to supporting communications and managing our learning platforms, you’ll be right at the centre of the action. You’ll work closely with multiple business units, helping keep efforts aligned, organised and moving forward. The role offers plenty of room to grow – once you’ve mastered the coordination and admin foundations, there are opportunities to get involved in broader initiatives and stretch your organisational development (OD) capability. Your work directly contributes to building capability, culture, and connection across Mercury and you will see the impact of your efforts.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage and support two learning systems (LMS and more), including content coordination and updates
Work confidently with tools like Canva, Confluence, Jira, and Lucid
Coordinate workshops, events, and online sessions (planning, logistics, invitations, communications)
Support internal communications and ensure messaging is clear, engaging, and on brand
Help keep projects organised by managing plans, tracking progress, and keeping the team aligned
Assist the team with programme delivery, documentation, and general people experience work

Mōu | About you:

An experienced admin/coordinator, ideally with experience working within HR or Organisational Development / People Experience
Highly organised with excellent planning skills
Ability to juggle multiple tasks and switch gears easily
Detail-obsessed – you spot things that others miss
Confident working with systems, tools and new technology (experience in Lucid, Jira, Confluence and Canva an advantage)
A strong communicator who enjoys supporting others

He aha te pai o te hono mai? | Why join us?
