What you’ll be doing:
The Senior Producer is an on-site leadership role responsible for the strategic delivery of high-profile live event experiences across ETA’s portfolio. This individual partners closely with clients and internal teams to shape the vision, build trust, and ensure the flawless execution of events that move people emotionally and strategically.
The Senior Producer oversees the full lifecycle of multiple complex programs and is expected to lead cross-functional teams, influence client outcomes, and serve as the internal voice of the event’s “why.” This role reports to the Director of Production and is expected to contribute to the growth and mentorship of other team members and freelance talent.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Guide clients on program strategy and work with Creative Services to design the emotional flow and overall attendee experience.
Serve as on-site lead for event execution, representing ETA to clients and vendors.
Ensure all assigned customer events are delivered successfully by planning, managing, and executing all aspects of the event production.
Collaborate with clients from confirmation through post-event debrief, serving as the primary liaison throughout.
Develop comprehensive event plans, including budgets, timelines, logistics, and resource planning.
Work with Creative Services to co-develop scenic, stage, video, and brand components aligned with the client’s vision.
Partner with Technical Project Managers to confirm labor, equipment, and technical feasibility; ensure the accuracy of estimates and diagrams.
Coordinate with Labor and Logistics Manager to confirm freelance and vendor support.
Act as crisis manager in live event environments to ensure show integrity is preserved.
Lead one internal kickoff meeting following client kickoff to align departments quickly and effectively.
Create, update, and maintain detailed project timelines, production schedules, and milestones.
Ensure proper storage and organization of files and documents in ETA systems (e.g., Egnyte).
Lead post-event recaps and document learnings to inform ETA best practices.
Mentor and guide other producers or freelance leads to uphold consistent standards of excellence.
Attend site visits, sales pitches, and contribute to early-stage creative planning.
Consistent Travel (nationally & internationally) as needed to support assigned events.
What you bring to the table:
7+ years of experience producing high-profile events.
Experience managing complex budgets and resource planning across large-scale programs.
Strong leadership skills with a history of managing medium/ large teams and cross functional partners.
Excellent communication skills with confidence in client-facing environments, especially with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives.
Proven ability to guide multi-disciplinary teams under pressure and across simultaneous projects.
Enjoy mentoring junior team members or freelance leads.
Detail and deadline oriented with an ability to anticipate, plan, and execute over the full event lifecycle.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PPT, Keynote, familiarity with Mac platforms preferred.
Preferred Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communication, or a related field.
