Job Description

Location: Auckland or Wellington, New Zealand

Castalia is seeking candidates for up to two internship positions. The position will be based in Castalia’s Auckland or Wellington office. The interns would be responsible for:

Conducting economic and financial research, analysis, and modelling;
Producing written and visual outputs to clearly and concisely communicate the results of the analysis and modelling to clients; and
Assisting with business development efforts.
The position is full-time or part-time, ideally at least 16 hours per week. The internship is expected to run for a 12-month period. The start date is flexible, and there is the possibility to extend or transition to a permanent position.

Who we’re looking for

Castalia is seeking candidates who are currently enrolled in a relevant graduate or undergraduate program (for example, international economics, finance, and policy) and expect to graduate in the next 18 months or have graduated in the last 12 months.

A degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Engineering Science, Law or Applied Mathematics
Excellent research and analytical skills, presentation and communication skills
Native-level fluency in English. Fluency in other languages is a plus
Work authorisation in New Zealand.
