Radio Shop Technician

Are you a skilled Radio Technician and looking for a new challenge? Rosebel Gold Mines is seeking a Radio Technician to join our Information Technology department. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing radio equipment used in our mining operations.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Maintain and repair radio equipment used in mining operations
Troubleshoot radio equipment issues and provide solutions
Maintain accurate records of all work performed
Collaborate with other members of the IT department to ensure radio equipment is functioning properly

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

Technical Secondary High School in Electronics or a related field, plus a Radio Technician course at a recognized radio school.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in radio communications.
Experience with installation, maintenance, and repair of radio equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose radio communication issues.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to work on a rotational schedule of 14 days on/ 7 days off.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Dutch and English.
