Full Stack Software Engineer – Java (6-Month Contract)

Compensation Contract Rate (W2): USD 52/hour

Working Hours: 8 Hours per Day | 40 Hours per Week

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced JAVA Full Stack Developer to design, develop, integrate, and support robust digital banking applications. This role requires strong hands-on expertise across backend Java technologies and modern frontend frameworks.

The developer will work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, IT teams, and security teams to deliver scalable, cloud-based solutions that enhance digital consumer banking experiences.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, React, and related technologies
• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to build customer-focused digital solutions
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems
• Create responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces
• Write optimized SQL queries and manage database interactions
• Implement integrations with third-party tools and frameworks
• Deploy and manage applications using cloud platforms (primarily AWS)

Must-Have Qualifications
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Java
• Spring Boot
• Angular
• React
• SQL
• Experience developing full-stack enterprise applications
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
• Ability to design scalable and secure systems
• Strong documentation and testing experience
• US Citizen or Green Card Holder (mandatory)
• Local Pittsburgh candidates preferred

Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Experience in Banking / Financial Services domain
