Lead CNC Machinist

We are looking for a talented and driven Lead CNC Machinist to become a part of our Duluth-based team. In this role, you will be integral to managing machining operations, maintaining efficiency and quality, and guiding junior machinists. Responsibilities
Manage daily CNC machining activities, helping to maintain adherence to quality and safety guidelines.
Set up and run CNC machines, including mills and lathes, to create top-quality components.
Interpret technical specifications and drawings to understand machining needs.
Mentor and train junior machinists, offering advice on optimal methods and practices.
Perform routine maintenance and repair of CNC equipment to decrease interruptions.
Work with production and engineering teams to refine machining workflows and processes.
Track production data and make changes to boost efficiency and cut down on waste.
Guarantee adherence to sector regulations and company standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent; a technical degree or machining certification is an advantage.
At least 5 years of CNC machining experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership position.
Skilled in running CNC mills and lathes, with solid knowledge of G-code programming.
Capable of interpreting technical documents, schematics, and blueprints.
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Capable of handling numerous priorities and thriving in a fast-paced setting.
Knowledgeable about quality control tools and procedures.
