Whispering Willows of Mount Vernon | Specialized Dementia Care Facility

Whispering Willows of Mount Vernon is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented MedTech to join our specialized memory care team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting older adults living with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in a calm, structured, and resident-centered environment.

What You’ll Do

Medication assistance per physician orders, pharmacy instructions, and facility policies
Accurately document medication administration and observations in the electronic record (EMAR/PCC)
Monitor residents for medication side effects or changes in condition and report concerns promptly
Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed
Provide patient, respectful care to residents with memory loss or cognitive impairment
Support residents receiving hospice or comfort-focused care
Maintain medication carts and storage areas in compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Follow all HIPAA, infection control, and resident rights requirements
Communicate effectively with caregivers, nurses, and leadership
What We’re Looking For

Experience as a Med Tech, caregiver, or similar role in assisted living or memory care preferred
Ability to pass required medication administration training
Experience working with residents with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease strongly preferred
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate documentation
Calm, compassionate approach to resident care
Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
