Retail Sales Manager

Full job description
RAIN Bottling Company is seeking its next, best hire- and the one who will drive Retail Placement and Sales! This role will sit somewhere between existing Chain Retail business and new Chain Retail business development.

You must have a background in retail sales for CPG goods. You will have successfully sold into both chain and independent retail accounts.

As our Director of Retail sales you will be responsible for:

Establishing relationships and shelf space with retail accounts(independent and chain)
Managing Existing Chain business, namely Kroger
Supporting retail accounts distribution partnerships- these include both DSD and Broadline distributors (KeHe)
Ensuring product velocity off the shelf meets and exceeds the minimum expectation from retailer
Negotiate, quantify and implement retailer unique incentives and promotions
Track sales figures, provide monthly reporting and act quickly on poorly performing placements
Monitor and dispute any bill back discrepancies at both the retail and distribution level
Absolutely Required Experience

Experience selling to retail accounts
Experience selling to DSD and Broadline Distributors
Extremely autonomous and self led, able to provide regular reporting
Financially literate and economically prudent, will be able to justify with fact based data if a program will be financially justified
Experience in CPG sales
Competent in Office Suite and Google Suite
Articulate and professional
Preferred but not required experience:

Degree in business or similar
Marketing experience
This is a remote role, but precedence will be given to employees based in Texas and the Rocky West. If you live in the proximity of our Bottling Facilities in NE Georgia, you will be expected to report to work in the office.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
