Position Summary:

Plan, direct and manage all sales functions of the assign sales team, ensuring focus and growth in each of the product/program types and product channels. Manage the assigned sales team and hold sales personnel accountable for results. Responsible for financial results through driving better utilization of sales and operational resources across all assigned territories; leverage scale and best practices to enhance productivity to ensure profitable growth is optimized. Develop and implement sales strategies which result in achievement of the Company’s growth and profit objectives. Direct new business sales activity with prospective and existing clients. Ensure that an excellent working knowledge of the Company’s products and services is maintained by the sales organization. Work with the various departments in the division to ensure client satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Manage the sales team to achieve revenue and profit goals. Hold team accountable for meeting goals, objectives, and timely performance of all duties and responsibilities.

· Work with Human Resources department to create job descriptions, hire competent personnel, oversee employee training programs and develop and implement staff evaluation parameters.

· Establish management succession planning for the sales team and ensure that capable management is in place to handle the work efficiently.

· Develop, recommend and oversee sales team compensation programs.

· Prepare and direct sales meetings and training programs to ensure that the sales team has the necessary product/program, service, and manufacturing facility knowledge to provide value-based-solutions to customer needs.

· Periodically travel to the various assigned territories and make joint sales calls with the sales team to support their sales effort and generate new opportunities.

· Ensure sufficient communication of information pertaining to clients and their projects between all levels of the organization.

· Partner with Executive Vice President in developing and executing new growth directives.

· Collaborate with the Everbrite Operations and Client Services teams to qualify and pursue client bid opportunities best suited for the division.

· Prepare annual sales forecasts, budgets and other reports as needed.

· Develop, implement and execute the annual Sales Operating Plan to meet divisional goals in support of corporate expectations. Oversee the sales team to develop annual territory business plans with their areas of responsibility.

· Develop annual departmental sales and expense budget. Responsible for adherence to financial budgets and cost control, ensuring cost effectiveness and spending throughout the sales group.

· Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements where and when required. Establish infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function.

· Review pricing submitted to customers to assure divisional gross margins are met. Work closely with Executive Vice President to develop pricing strategies to improve sales and drive year-over-year margin growth.

· Develop and maintain a sales information system to provide the Company with input on customer satisfaction, Account Executive activity and performance, territory action plans, client status and activity and competitor analysis.

· Maintain good working relationships with all departments within the organization.

· Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other company functions.

· Uncover & recommend new products, enhancements to existing products and/or programs for further development to the Product Management Team.

· Contribute to the development of the annual business plan and Company’s long-term strategic plan.

Educational Requirements / Experience / Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, marketing, communications and/or a master’s degree in business administration, personnel management or related fields is preferred.

· Leadership training such as decision making, negotiation, strategic leadership and business analysis.

· Minimum of 5 years of related sales leadership experience.

· Pricing, forecasting, revenue enhancement responsibility, and knowledge of manufacturing.

· Experience in performing complex and varied duties requiring a significant degree of business acumen, decision making, people skills and independence of action in a manner that assures sound business practices while serving the customers’ needs.

· Experienced in a team-driven continuous improvement environment, assuring that the voice of the customer is being heard.

· Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Strong leadership, ownership and collaborative skills with proven ability to drive change and necessitate accountability.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite and various MRP Systems
· Ability to travel to clients’ offices/sites and the various territories as needed.

· Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills.

Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish.
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services.
Knowledge of how to develop client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions.
· Working knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) packages.

· Proven knowledge of performance evaluation metrics in a business setting.

Understanding of how to position products and services against competitors.
Able to evoke enthusiasm among team members.
· Enthusiastic and creative servant leader with the ability to inspire others.
