Registered Dietitian

This is a part-time position for a Registered Dietitian to be actively involved in a private practice setting. The candidate must be comfortable providing Telehealth, teaching nutrition and lifestyle changes, and working with clients with Binge Eating Disorder, and Obesity. The dietitian will learn Behavior Nutrition Therapy and training will be on the the time of the candidate. Show proficiency in prescribing meal plans based on the BMR and planning those meals according to a low glycemic meal plan using the Exchange Method, for telehealth clients. Comfortable in tracking the progress of their clients and willing to continue to encourage the client until the client reaches the goal weight. Comfortable in working in a group setting and being available for "staffing" meeting to review progress of clients.

Successful candidates:

Will be willing to learn and provide Behavior Nutrition Therapy as developed by an RDN and LMHC to successfully treat Obesity.

Comfortable and proficient in reading and analyzing lab values for Metabolic Syndrome

Confortable in making recommendations for suppements to help with Metabolic Syndrome and general basic nutrition support

Computer literate and able to have a dedicated space in thier home for a professional Medical Nutrition Therapy Virtual Office

Have a license to practice nutrition as a Registed Dietitian in Florida

Able to manage your own time, make appointments, and professionally interact with clients

Maintain malpractice insurance and all continuing education necessary to proactice in Florida

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $85.00 - $125.00 per hour
