Job Description

We are seeking Senior Business Analyst to join our team supporting an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) client.

The Senior Business Analyst responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Support the design or modification of business systems or IT systems.
Knowledge of Business Analysis best practices along with analysis skills for interpreting complex datasets.
Interact with the business stakeholders and subject matter experts in order to understand their problems and needs.
Support tasks in Agile and waterfall hybrid environments.
Gather, document, and analyze business needs and technical requirements.
Document business rules and User Stories in Jira
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau
Translate requirements into detailed test scenarios and test case
Design test cases for functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing
Execute test cases manually or automated; Test Tableau dashboards
Support UAT tester and business users with scripts and issue resolution
Propose solutions to business problems and as needed, design technical solutions.
Interact with system architects and developers to ensure the system is properly implemented.
Create and execute test cases against the developed code.
Create functional documentation based on the customer requirements.
Track test execution progress and report as per project schedule
Project Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required; an additional five (5) years of related work experience can substitute for a degree.
At least five (5) years of relevant experience required.
Experience in soliciting and documenting requirements, technical writing and document preparation, and creating and utilizing test cases.
Demonstrated success in client support.
Proficient or familiar with various types of project management and business analysis software. Proficiency in spreadsheets is also important.
Experience working under Agile software development methodologies.
Additional skill requirements: SQL, Jira, GitHub, Tableau
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in conducting systems analysis using design methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide directions to system programmers.
Ability to communicate process changes, enhancements, and modifications verbally or through written documentation.
Preferred experience: Experience with IRS systems and Data; experience with IBM Rational ELM; experience supporting federal agency clients.
Must be eligible to obtain IRS Moderate Risk MBI.
IRS experience.
Requirements as per Contract/Client:

Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance. These include a tax compliance records check, basic local police check, credit check, federal employment application and NDA forms completion.
An active IRS Moderate Risk MBI is a plus.
Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen and meet minimum length of U.S. residency.
Position is contingent on contract award.
The location of work is 100% remote in the U.S.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,127.45 - $52,519.09 per year
