Educational Account Representative

JOB SUMMARY: EDUCATIONAL ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE – REMOTE POSITION

PART TIME -- Inside sales, market research and customer service supporting PreK-12 schools.

You will utilize phone and email to interact with school and district decision makers to build relationships and discuss school needs tied to educational curriculum.

Perfect position for professionals needing a home/work life balance, or college students that need flexible hours based around a school schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Be responsible for new K-12 account customer acquisition and driving new revenue for a specific territory and maintaining the highest level of customer service

-Further qualify existing leads

-Cross sell newly released programs to existing customers

-Upsell to other educators at the school or district level

-Service incoming calls and emails in a professional manner

-Generate personalized emails using provided templates

-Turnkey sales opportunities from start to close

-Reach out to 25-30 educators each day through phone and follow up email

QUALIFICATIONS: Requires at least two years of post-secondary education. New business development, inside sales and customer service experience necessary. Teachers and others with educational backgrounds are also encouraged. Spanish speakers a plus.

Work from home position – must have a high-speed internet connection available that will support system requirements.

SKILLS: Salesforce and other CRM experience to track sales opportunities, ensuring data integrity and allowing for team collaboration.

Proficient use in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel and Word.

Research skills to obtain new contact information through school websites.

Ability to prioritize and multi-task.

Strong attention to detail.

Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with other team members.

HOURS: Monday - Friday, 4-6 hours per business day. NO WEEKENDS OR EVENINGS. 4-8 weeks off during the summer

Follow a school schedule with banking holidays off.

Hourly pay range based upon experience.

Bonus program after 30 days.
