Adjunct Instructor in Digital Reporting
Generations College is seeking a knowledgeable, experienced, and student-focused Digital Reporting Instructor. The ideal candidate will bring real-world expertise, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to student success in the growing field of digital and electronic court reporting.

As the nation's third oldest, two-year, private, nonprofit institution, Generations offers campus based and online Associate Degrees in: Court Reporting, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, and Legal and Paralegal Studies.
Responsibilities and Duties:
· Instruct and assess students in courses related to digital court reporting, including but not limited to audio capture, legal terminology, court procedures, and transcription techniques
· Deliver engaging and industry-relevant lectures using up-to-date technologies and best practices
· Assist students in understanding AAERT certification pathways and preparation
· Maintain accurate records of attendance, grading, and student progress
· Participate in curriculum development and instructional planning
· Provide support and guidance to students in both academic and career development
Qualifications and Skills (required):
· Associate degree or higher in court reporting or a related field
· Certified Electronic Reporter (CER) or Certified Electronic Transcriber (CET) from AAERT
· At least 2 years of professional experience in digital court reporting, electronic transcription, or a related field
· Proficiency with industry tools such as digital audio recording equipment and transcription software
· Strong communication and instructional skills
· Experience teaching or training in an academic or professional setting preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree or higher
· Current AAERT certification(s)
· Familiarity with online learning platforms and instructional technology
· Experience developing or updating course content
· Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusive learning environments
