Full job description
Union Latinos Restaurant and Bar, a Colombian restaurant located in the heart of Surrey, is looking for a passionate and dedicated baker with experience in traditional Latin American pastry. The ideal candidate should be skilled in preparing authentic baked goods such as pan de bono, cheese-filled bread, brazo de reina (Swiss roll), roscones, churros, almojábanas, and other traditional specialties.

Main Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake Latin American pastries and baked goods daily.
Ensure quality, freshness, and presentation of all products.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation following food safety regulations.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new bakery items.
Manage ingredient inventory and report supply needs.
Requirements:

Previous experience in baking, preferably with a focus on Latin American products.
Knowledge of dough preparation, fermentation, and oven operation.
Availability for early morning shifts.
Commitment to quality and hygiene standards.
Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
Spanish language proficiency required, as many recipes, processes, and team communications are conducted in Spanish.
