QC Engineer

Role Summary

The Fresher Mechanical QC Engineer is responsible for assisting in the implementation and maintenance of quality assurance and control processes throughout the production lifecycle. This role involves hands-on inspection, testing, and documentation to identify and resolve defects, ensuring product reliability and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Inspection and Testing:
Perform routine visual and dimensional inspection of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges).
Witness and monitor mechanical tests (e.g., pressure tests, functional checks) as per the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and project specifications.
Assist senior engineers in conducting Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) like Ultrasonic Testing (UT) or Radiographic Testing (RT) on materials and welds, where applicable.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
Experience: Fresher (0-1 years of experience). Relevant internship or co-op experience in a quality or manufacturing environment is highly advantageous.
