Job Title: Senior Java Backend Engineer

Experience: 7 - 12 Years

Location: Mumbai/ Pune

Work Mode: Hybrid

Role Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Java Backend Software Engineer with strong experience in building high-performance, data-intensive back end systems. This role involves working on large-scale data processing applications, optimizing system performance, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java back end applications
• Build and optimize data processing and analytics systems
• Work with large datasets and implement parallel processing solutions
• Optimize memory usage and system performance for data-heavy applications
• Develop and manage integrations with relational databases and data warehouses
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis and transformation
• Ensure data security and compliance with best practices
• Participate in code reviews and maintain high code quality
• Design and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and other stakeholders

Key Skills & Experience:
• 7+ years of strong experience in Java backend development
• Advanced My SQL skills with performance tuning experience
• Experience working with large-scale data processing systems
• Hands-on experience with cloud platform AWS
• Strong understanding of system performance, memory optimization, and SDLC
• Exposure to CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
