Unarmed Security Guard- post

Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role involves monitoring access points, conducting patrols, and maintaining a secure environment through attentive surveillance and conflict management. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, excellent judgment, and a commitment to safety protocols. Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred, along with relevant certifications such as CPR and First Aid.

Duties

Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks
Monitor surveillance systems including CCTV to observe activity and respond promptly to suspicious behavior
Control access points by checking credentials and logging visitor information
Respond effectively to security incidents or emergencies using conflict management skills
Enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment for all personnel and visitors
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying theft or vandalism activities
Provide first aid or CPR when necessary until emergency services arrive
Complete detailed incident reports accurately and promptly for any security-related events

Experience

Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV is preferred
Certification in First Aid, CPR, or related emergency response training is a plus
Demonstrated ability in conflict management and loss prevention techniques
Strong observational skills with attention to detail and situational awareness
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle difficult situations professionally
