Job Summary

We are seeking a warm, reliable, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children, values gentle and exceptional care, and thrives in a positive, team-oriented environment. You’ll support our pediatric dentist in delivering safe, high-quality treatment while helping create a fun, comforting experience for every child.

Duties

Assist the pediatric dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures
Help children feel comfortable, safe, and at ease throughout their visit
Prepare, sterilize, and organize instruments and treatment rooms following safety and infection-control protocols
Take digital X-rays, impressions, and photos as directed
Provide oral hygiene instruction to patients and families in a clear and playful way
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Communicate effectively and kindly with parents, caregivers, and team members
Support front-desk tasks as needed (appointment flow, patient check-in, etc.)
Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and joyful team culture
Participate in community outreach events when applicable

Qualifications

Dental Assistant experience or willingness to learn on the job (pediatric experience preferred but not required)
X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain after start date)
CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially with young children
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, patient, and committed to delivering exceptional care

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
