Summary

The Warehouse Quality Control associate must have experience with seafood and produce Quality Control (QC) processes and industry standards. They are responsible for the quality, food safety and aesthetics of the product. The QC associate follows through standard operating procedures to ensure good manufacturing practices (GMP), food safety, Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards and product quality standards. This position requires that employee be knowledgeable with Microsoft office and Inventory Management Software. Position will be in warehouse appropriate gear MUST be used at all times. Ability to work in Coolers between 30-50 degrees F. Will assist in warehouse duties if needed.

AVAILABLE FULL TIME SCHEDULE:

11am start time

Monday and Tuesday Off

Duties and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Responsible for monitoring and product food safety and quality
Responsible for performing sanitation verification and allergen testing on equipment and other areas required
Responsible for the correct recording and filing of all relevant record logs and Documentation
Ensures the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing
Ensures employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices.
Ensures and educates employees on food safety and SQF standards.
Collect product samples for Product Development, lab retains and the laboratory when directed.
Perform inspections on Products, Equipment and Machinery
Be a role model in projecting and applying Evo Logistics philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork) and promote teamwork at all times.
Perform regularly scheduled inspections
Identify, investigate and report on critical quality defects on production processes and products
Prepare and submit reports as required
Conduct or assist with processing specification audits (customer and in-house product specifications)
Conduct in-line QC checks and problem analysis
Ensure all Food Safety and HACCP duties and OSHA safety practices are met daily
Perform other duties, as assigned

Warehouse experience: 1 year (Required)
Quality control: 1 year (Required)
Pallet jack: 1 year (Required)
