Job Title: WordPress Backend Developer (1 to 3 Year Experience)
Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Work from Office)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled WordPress Backend Developer who has hands-on experience in developing and customizing WordPress themes, plugins, and APIs. The ideal candidate should be able to handle backend development tasks efficiently, maintain website performance, and integrate third-party services as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
• Work on custom post types, taxonomies, and shortcodes for site functionality.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and integrations with third-party platforms.
• Optimize website performance, security, and database queries.
• Troubleshoot and debug backend-related issues on live websites.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and designers to ensure seamless integration.
• Implement and manage user roles, permissions, and data validations.
• Perform website migrations, backups, and updates.
• Manage version control using Git/GitHub.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress and PHP development trends.
Required Skills:
• Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Deep understanding of WordPress core, themes, and plugin architecture.
• Experience with custom plugin and theme development.
• Knowledge of REST API integration and AJAX.
• Familiarity with cPanel / hosting environments.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Basic understanding of security best practices and performance optimization.
• Experience with WooCommerce customization, Page Builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
• Experience with WordPress Multisite
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in WordPress backend development.
