Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines leveraging GCP services including BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Cloud SQL.
• Implement robust ETL processes and automate data workflows to ensure data availability and high performance for analytics teams.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing data systems, ensuring reliability and data integrity at all times.
• Develop documentation and maintain best practices for data engineering processes and data governance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data platforms and support adoption of new cloud technologies.
• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms within a dynamic, fast-paced team setting.

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4-7 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong background in GCP development.
• Hands-on expertise with BigQuery, GCP Cloud Storage, GCP Cloud Functions, and Cloud SQL.
• Experience building, managing, and scaling ETL pipelines and data architectures on cloud platforms.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results under tight timelines.

Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge or experience with data translation solutions is a plus.
• Exposure to advanced cloud data security and compliance practices.
• Prior experience in fast-paced, customer-driven environments.
