Celoxica is a global leader in high-performance computing solutions, specializing in advanced software-to-FPGA toolchains for the financial industry. With offices in Europe and a growing presence in Asia-Pacific, we deliver cutting-edge products for the financial industry requiring accelerated computing performance.

We are establishing a new software division in Sydney, Australia, and seek a highly skilled and experienced Software Developer to lead our local technical operations. This is a strategic role aimed at expanding Celoxica’s presence in the Australian market.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will be an expert in C++ development and FPGA software integration, with deep knowledge of Celoxica’s proprietary software stack. This role will serve as the technical bridge between our R&D team in France and the new Sydney-based team.

You will be responsible for developing advanced software solutions, collaborating closely with our French engineering group, and building a small, high-performing local development team.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the development of FPGA-accelerated software solutions using C++ and Celoxica’s software stack in Sydney.

· Serve as the primary technical liaison between the French R&D office and the Sydney development team.

· Translate complex R&D specifications into implementable local development tasks.

· Mentor and train 2–3 local developers to ensure high standards of technical delivery.

· Oversee project timelines, code quality, and integration with FPGA-based hardware systems.

· Contribute to the design, testing, and deployment of software solutions.

· Represent Celoxica in technical discussions with clients, partners, and internal teams.

Required Skills & Experience

· Extensive professional experience in C++ software development (minimum 7 years).

· Proven expertise in FPGA-related software toolchains and development workflows.

· Hands-on experience with Celoxica’s proprietary FPGA software stack (or equivalent).

· Strong background in high-performance, low-latency software development.

· Experience in leading or mentoring software engineering teams.

· Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across different time zones.

· Good working proficiency in French is highly desirable, as the role involves frequent communication with our French R&D team.
