We are looking for talented System Engineers to join and grow with us. The role would offer the best working environment, focussing on growing IT Infrastructure, system and application needs of our client delivery teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage Systems, Network, Security, cloud services for us.
Provide regular hardware, OS and core softwares’ monitoring and support
Provide support during onboarding and offboarding of a staff member for various assets, access and security aspects.
Manage cloud subscriptions, allocations and deallocations to project teams/ individuals for VMs, Databases etc.
Setting up environments on public cloud services AWS or Azure.
Regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
Conduct regular audits of IT infrastructure.
Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure virtual servers, peripherals, services, settings, storage, in accordance with standards and operational requirements.
Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups, crons, etc.
Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks. Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale.
Daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate recovery tapes, and media is sent off site as necessary & recover from system failures; coordinate and communicate with those impacted.
Provide in-depth troubleshooting and technical support, collaborate with teams and document resolutions.
Manage & maintain Internet firewall & VPN links & communicate appropriately with peers.
Prerequisite - Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 1+ years of experience as a System Administrator and good knowledge about the Linux system files, boot process, and Run levels.
Experience of Network principles & technologies (including TCP/IP, Firewalls, Router, Switch).
Experience in administration of systems and Operating Systems.
Experience on managing and configuring Access control, Security and Identity providers.
Experience of managing Google enterprise work space/Business apps and collaboration tools.
Experience of managing Azure access control, Services, Virtual machines etc.
Experience of managing Computer infrastructure including CPUs, Memories, Hard-disks, Networking etc.
Linux Infrastructure(Building, Maintaining & Supporting infrastructure).
(Preferably) Have experience with cloud services AWS or Azure.
Familiar with GIT versioning, Jenkins/Docker and Basic Shell Scripting.
Understanding of automation & monitoring concepts and tools.
Experience in preparing Documentation and Knowledge Base.
Good Experience on handling Performance related issues on OS.
Excellent written, verbal communication and Interpersonal skills.
Strong Collaboration and Coordination skills.
Qualifications
Any Graduate (Engineering or MCA)
