Job description
As a Junior Design Engineer specializing in EOT Cranes and Structural Design, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design and development of EOT cranes and material handling equipment. You will collaborate with experienced engineers to gain practical experience in structural design, material handling systems, and design software. Your responsibilities will include assisting in EOT crane design, supporting structural design development, contributing to material handling equipment design, utilizing design software tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Staad Pro, ensuring design tolerances during assembly, preparing and maintaining design documentation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and participating in continuous improvement efforts to optimize design processes.
To excel in this role, you should have 1-4 years of experience in design engineering or a related field. Fresh graduates with relevant internships or projects are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with design software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Staad Pro is advantageous. While a basic understanding of EOT cranes and material handling systems is beneficial, it is not mandatory. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering is required. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset are essential qualities for success in this position.
This is a full-time, permanent position located in Changodar, Ahmedabad. The compensation offered ranges from 15,479.02 to 35,501.21 per month, with additional benefits such as a yearly bonus. The work schedule includes day and morning shifts, with a focus on in-person work to facilitate collaboration with the team.
