Job Description
We are a Health & Fitness company seeking a Freelance creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. This is Freelance / Contract work - Not an Employee role. Local or semi-local preferred.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through visual media and possess a strong skill set in video editing and post-production techniques. This role involves collaborating with various teams to create engaging video content that aligns with our brand’s vision and objectives.
Requirements
• Edit raw footage into polished video content that meets project specifications and deadlines.
• Collaborate with directors, producers, and other team members to understand project goals and creative direction.
• Utilize various software tools to enhance video quality, including color correction, sound editing, and motion graphics.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing, post-production, and content creation.
• Assist in the filming process as needed, including setting up equipment and capturing high-quality footage.
• Organize and maintain digital assets within content management systems for easy access and retrieval.
Skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator.
• Experience with Final Cut Pro, Avid, Cinema 4D, Maya, and 3D/2D animation software is a plus.
• Strong understanding of post-production processes including video editing, photo editing, photo manipulation, motion graphics, typography, and graphic design.
• Familiarity with videography techniques and filming best practices.
• Knowledge of FTP protocols for file transfer management.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple projects.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
