Job description: We are looking for a talented Video Editor (with producing skills) to work on dog-related video projects that are distributed on YouTube.
Dog Podcast Network is the world's first podcast network dedicated to dog lovers. That means our audience and everyone one on our team REALLY LOVES dogs. (If you don't, this is probably not the right position for you.)
We are expanding our production efforts from audio-only to incorporate more video and that is where you come in.
We are seeking a great video editor who also has experience on the back-end of YouTube and knows how to optimize things for maximum impact.
Responsibilities
• Edit podcast interviews recorded via Squadcast.FM and insert appropriate B-roll and cover shots to keep viewers interested
• Produce/Edit both short-form and long-form videos for various social media platforms including clips from video podcasts
• Produce/Edit high-end :30 and :60 product commercials
• Develop our brand's video appearance to keep up with trends and standards
• Create motion graphics / logo reveals for different projects
• Collaborate with our audio producers and graphic artists
• Collaborate with the Marketing team to create video content for social media
• Be responsible for our YouTube channel's optimization
• Keep up to date on the best practices and strategic and tactics to rank well on YouTube
• Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency
Requirements
• Native-level of English
• Proven work experience as a Video Editor
• Proven experience with managing a YouTube channel
• Fluency in Adobe Premiere Pro. After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Solid experience with motion graphics and design
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
• Creative mind and storytelling skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to edit videos in a timely manner
• Bachelors degree in film studies, cinematography or related field is a Plus

Role Summary
We’re looking for a Video Editor who thrives at the intersection of creativity and performance. In this role, you’ll create and edit high-impact CTV ads that grab attention in the first few seconds and drive measurable results. You’ll work with brand assets, UGC, and AI-generated content to produce multiple ad variations each day, collaborating closely with our creative, account management, and product teams.
This is an opportunity to shape the creative side of a fast-growing CTV platform, experiment with cutting-edge tools, and help brands of all sizes succeed on TV.
What You'll Do
• Edit and produce multiple ad variations daily (around 5–10 depending on complexity).
• Work with existing brand footage to cut and restructure for CTV delivery.
• Build new concepts from scratch using stock footage, UGC, and AI tools (Waymark, Streamr, etc.).
• Add motion graphics, end cards, transitions, and text overlays that align with brand guidelines.
• Interpret creative briefs, manage feedback, and iterate quickly.
• Keep a sharp focus on performance outcomes like viewer attention, clarity, and impact in the first few seconds.
• Experiment with AI creative technologies to improve performance and efficiency.
• Help define product requirements for future creative tools and features.
• Be a part of shaping the creative function at a fast-growing startup in a breakout category.
• Work at the cutting edge of AI and performance video advertising.
• Test and iterate at a speed most agencies can’t match.
