Job Title: OpenText Full Stack Developer (Intermediate)
Location: Remote (Must be located in Canada – occasional onsite visits in Edmonton, AB may be required with one month notice)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
About the Role
We are seeking an Intermediate Full Stack Developer with strong OpenText Content Server experience to support and develop collaboration and content services. This position focuses on patching, maintaining, and consolidating OpenText instances while delivering quality solutions that simplify tech stack complexity and enhance user experience.
Key Responsibilities
· OpenText Support & Development: Maintain, patch, and configure OpenText Content Server (OTCS) applications to ensure maximum system uptime.
· System Integration: Develop and configure OTCS integrations with external applications, including API development (REST, ECM Link API, Content Server Web Services).
· Migration: Map, transform, and load documents from business applications to OTCS, including reconciliation reporting.
· Solution Design: Analyze requirements and propose configuration/development options aligned with best practices.
· Application Development: Work in .NET/Visual Studio environments, using source control and CI/CD pipelines for rapid, quality delivery.
· Collaboration: Work with designers, stakeholders, and Agile teams to refine requirements, create backlogs, and deliver features iteratively.
· Operational Readiness: Prepare documentation, operating guides, and support knowledge transfer to sustainment teams.
· Support Testing & Implementation: Assist with QA, performance testing, dry runs, and issue remediation for smooth deployment.
Required Skills & Experience
Education:
University degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline with minimum 2 years’ experience
OR 2-year diploma + 4 years’ experience
OR 1-year certificate + 5 years’ experience
OR 10+ years’ related experience
Technical Experience (Minimum 2 Years Each):
Integration of OpenText Content Server with external applications (APIs, REST, Web Services)
OTCS system configuration, patching, maintenance, deployments, and user support
Application development in large enterprise IT environments using .NET, Visual Studio, and source control
Nice-to-Have Skills
· Experience with document migration (mapping, transformation, loading) into OTCS
· Experience designing OpenText solutions and evaluating business/technical requirements
· Hands-on experience with OTCS Workflows, Workspaces, Connected Workspaces, Web Reports, Web Forms, and Templates
· Knowledge of information standards and database schema design

Work Arrangement
Remote-first role – work must be performed within Canada
Possible onsite meetings in Edmonton, AB (1-day visits, with at least 1-month advance notice)
Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 08:15 – 16:30 Alberta time
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: From $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.25 per week
