Administrative Coordinator

The Department of Economics is one of the core social science departments within the School of Arts & Sciences-Newark at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. The department is composed of research-active faculty dedicated to excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching. The department offers both a major and minor in economics leading toward the BA degree. We also maintain an MA program in economics and an accelerated 5-year BA/MA program. Whether the students are headed to the job market or graduate school, our department helps students acquire knowledge and skills that are essential for their future careers.
