Job description
Job Summary:

Remote People is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer III to join our international team. As a Network Engineer III, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues with GTD-5 switches, delivering Tier 3 telephony and hardware support, and working closely with customers, support teams, and vendors to resolve network problems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues with GTD-5 switches
• Deliver Tier 3 telephony and hardware support
• Interface with customers, support teams, and vendors to resolve network problems
• Guide field teams on proper trouble isolation and hardware replacement
• Document internal processes and mentor other engineers
• Ensure accurate, timely ticket updates and participate in an on-call rotation

Requirements:
• At least 5 years' hands-on GTD-5 hardware support and telephony troubleshooting experience
• Experience with call processing and translations
• Familiarity with central office procedures and ISO27001 compliance
• Strong communication, customer focus, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently from home and manage time effectively
• Degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
