Job description
BDO RISE seeks an Investment Accounting Manager for our FOS Family Office in Ahmedabad and Mumbai. This role is critical for ensuring accurate investment accounting and supporting staff with complex entries and reconciliations.
About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team, responsible for hands-on experience in both investment and general ledger accounting, as well as consolidated concepts and private equity accounting.
Required Skillset
• Minimum 9 years of experience in US accounting with:
• General ledger accounting
• Investment accounting (platforms such as Sage, QBO, Geneva, Investran)
• Consolidated accounting concepts (eliminating entries)
• Private equity accounting
• Wealth enterprise accounting (entity cost allocation)
• Trust & foundation accounting
• Basic tax treatments
• Diverse experience in investment and personal accounting, especially for family enterprises
• Experience in a reviewer role and staff/project management
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Experience
• Hands-on experience with both investment performance platforms (e.g., Black Diamond) and accounting systems (e.g., Sage, QBO)
• Proven track record in investment accounting for family offices or similar environments
• Ability to train and support staff on complex accounting entries and reconciliations
