Job Description
The Collection Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the daily operations of the collections team to ensure timely recovery of outstanding debts. This role includes supervising collection agents, implementing strategies to reduce delinquency, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead a team of collection agents to meet monthly collection targets and KPIs. Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts to ensure effective debt recovery. Train, coach, and evaluate team members to improve productivity and efficiency. Develop and implement collection strategies, payment plans, and negotiation tactics. Resolve escalated customer issues and disputes professionally and in compliance with regulations. Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Legal) on account issues. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on collection performance and delinquency trends. Recommend write-offs, legal action, or escalations where necessary. Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical practices. Assist in hiring and onboarding new team members.
