About the Role

We have an opportunity for an experienced perioperative nurse or technician to further their career, focusing on education, training and development within a passionate perioperative educator team. Āhua Tohu Pōkangia | Perioperative Services at Te Toka Tumai are looking for a perioperative educator (nurse or anaesthetic technician), to work clinically and provide support to our five Post Anaesthesia Care Units (PACUs).

Your primary purpose is to contribute to the development of clinical practice through delivery of education to the PACU workforce, including teaching on and supporting the Pokakapu Ātea - New to PACU (NTPACU) programme. You will contribute to developing further the directorate workforce education opportunities, plans and strategic objectives. This is achieved by informing and contributing to the development of resources with evidenced based education that can be applied within the directorate and organisation.
