Job Title: Elementary Teachers (Part-Time)

Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Position Summary
TDSH seeks a passionate, skilled, and engaging teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to student learning and growth, classroom management, and collaboration with fellow educators. We are currently hiring for General Studies teaching positions, across various elementary and middle school grade levels.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
Differentiate instruction to meet a range of student needs and abilities
Use a variety of assessment tools to evaluate student progress
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field preferred
Student teachers welcome to apply
Valid teaching certification preferred (or in the process of obtaining one, retired teachers welcome to apply)
Experience teaching in a day school or similar setting preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passion for teaching and lifelong learning
Benefits
Salary commensurate with experience and education ($28-32K)
Hours 12:00 - 4:00 PM, following Jewish School Calendar (posted on school website)
