Role Description
The Assistant Design Architect will play a key role in supporting the design and sales team by developing architectural concepts, preparing detailed drawings, and coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors. The role requires both creative design skills and practical project coordination to deliver high-quality smart home and interior solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical Development
• Prepare architectural drawings, 3D visualizations, and design proposals
• Develop space planning, material specifications, and detailed design documentation
• Ensure all design outputs comply with building codes, regulations, and project requirements
Project Coordination
• Work closely with Senior Architects, engineers, and contractors to translate design concepts into execution
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and provide design clarifications where needed
• Assist in monitoring project progress and prepare design-related reports
Client Engagement
• Support in client meetings to interpret design needs and present design solutions
• Provide creative input and technical advice during discussions and presentations
• Assist in preparing tender submissions and design documentation packages
Sales & Marketing Support
• Collaborate with the sales team to prepare design materials for proposals and bids
• Contribute to marketing collaterals, events, and exhibitions with design-related content
• Participate in open houses or product showcases to support business development
Documentation & Compliance
• Maintain accurate project records, drawings, and design libraries
• Prepare submission documents for authorities and ensure regulatory compliance
• Support in contract documentation and progress claims when required
Education
• Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline
Experience
• 1–2 years of professional experience in architectural design, interior design, or construction-related roles
• Prior involvement in residential or commercial projects will be advantageous
Key Competencies
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and construction methods
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a client-focused mindset
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating within a team
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,600.00 per month
