Job Profile: Fashion Designer 3D-CAD
Job Summary: We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Fashion Designer with expertise in 3D CAD to design and visualize apparel collections using advanced digital tools. The role involves translating design concepts into realistic 3D garments, ensuring faster product development, efficient prototyping, and enhanced collaboration with merchandising, marketing, and production teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Create innovative fashion designs for apparel collections aligned with brand identity and seasonal trends.
Develop 3D CAD garment prototypes using software like CLO 3D, Browzwear, Optitex, or equivalent.
Visualize fabric drape, fit, and construction digitally to reduce reliance on physical samples.
Build digital fabric libraries, trims, and accessories for accurate representation.
Collaborate with fabric/trim sourcing teams to ensure correct textures and material properties are captured.
Prepare digital tech packs for production handover.
Work with merchandising, marketing, and e-commerce teams to provide 3D renders for catalogues, look-books, and online retail visualization.
Partner with production teams to ensure technical feasibility and cost efficiency.
Contribute to reducing sample lead time and development costs through effective use of 3D design.
Stay updated with latest CAD/fashion technology trends, sustainability practices, and digital workflow improvements.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Apparel Technology or related field.
Strong proficiency in 3D fashion design software (CLO 3D, Browzwear, Optitex, or similar).
Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and textiles.
Eye for aesthetics, color theory, and trend forecasting.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
Preferred Experience
3–5 years in fashion design with hands-on CAD/3D garment design.
Experience in kids wear
Exposure to digital showrooms, virtual fittings, or 3D-driven e-commerce visualization is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
