Join our team at a child care center, where we will inspire children to be lifelong learners! We are looking for a lead teacher that is responsible for planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities that include STEM, Fine Art, Healthy Habits, and other engaging recreation activities. This is a dual position, where the candidate would be responsible being a lead teacher as well as assisting the executive director with director duties.

Candidate MUST be Director Qualified which are outlined below:

a minimum of an Associate Degree in child development or early childhood education
OR

64 semester hours in any discipline with a minimum of 21 hours of college credit in child development, early childhood education or early childhood special education
AND ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:

Gateways to Opportunity Level I Illinois Director Credential
OR 3 semester hours of college credit in administration, leadership, or management

OR

3 points of credential-approved training in administration, leadership, or management.
Additional Qualifications

Experience working with children
Applicants must be able to lift, carry, and hold children.
CPR and First Aid Certification a plus
Bi-lingual a plus
