Dental Office Receptionist

Overview
A quality oriented dental office in Ridgewood Queens is seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team.

No experience needed. Will train the right candidate. Spanish speaking is a plus.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office by managing patient interactions and administrative tasks. This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and manage front desk operations to create a welcoming environment.
Schedule appointments, confirm patient visits, and manage the calendar for dental providers.
Review and maintain accurate patient documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date.
Handle medical collections and process payments in accordance with office policies.
Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with understanding their benefits.
Utilize medical terminology effectively while communicating with patients and staff.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area to enhance patient experience.
Assist with clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and correspondence as needed.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient care and office efficiency.
