Part-Time Early Childhood Music Mandarin Teacher

Mandarin Tots is NYC's premier Mandarin Chinese language and cultural center for young children. We' re seeking an energetic Mandarin Chinese early childhood teacher for our 40-minute mommy and me Mandarin class, which is taught in 100% Mandarin through a series of games, activities and songs. If you enjoy being around babies and toddlers, love singing and enjoy making classes fun for the children, then this is the job for you!

Qualifications:

Fluent native Mandarin Chinese speaker with standard accent.
Prior experience teaching babies and toddlers.
Able to create lesson plans and design age-appropriate activities, including using age-appropriate songs, teaching materials and children's books.
High energy and able to engage with young children.
Able to work in Manhattan and Brooklyn and be reliable and punctual at all times.
Degree or Certification in language, education or early Childhood Education preferred.
Talents in music instrument (such as guitar) preferred.
Classes will be held outdoors in the morning for one to two days a week in Manhattan and Brooklyn from September to November.
