Full job description
Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed University.
Minimum 5 years of experience after graduation, out of which 3 years must be in Design Engineering of RCC and steel structures of Industrial Plants / Utilities.
Must be fully computer literate and fluent in software like MS Word, Excel etc.
Must have confidence to work independently (without the help of seniors) in the design of various industrial Buildings (RCC), Support facility buildings (RCC), Equipment foundations (RCC), Steel structural supports, Lattice type Gantry towers (Steel), Gantry beams (Steel), Transmission line towers (Steel), Cable galleries (Steel), EHV Transformer foundation (RCC).
CAD drafting will be done by others. The engineer shall provide hand sketch assignments to the Draftsman. However, candidates knowing CAD software will be given preference.
Must be thoroughly experienced in application of software (staad.pro connect, staad foundation, RCDC) in civil and structural designs.
Candidate residing within 5km from Satcon office location will be preferred.
The job includes site visits for data collection and discussions with the Client to obtain drawings approval.
The candidate shall be experienced in National and International standards (IS, BS-EN, ACI, AISC etc.).
