Tax Assistant / Semi-Senior (Top 40 firm)

£28,000 to £35,000

Butler Rose Public Practice is delighted to be partnering with this well-known national accountancy firm with fantastic modern offices situated conveniently on the outskirts of Stevenage that are currently recruiting for an ambitious Tax Assistant or Semi-Senior Accountant to complement the existing tax department.

Role Requirements –

As a Tax Assistant, you'll be supporting the firm's busy tax department, working across a broad portfolio of clients including individuals, OMBS, SMEs, and larger corporate entities.

Assisting with the preparation of personal and corporate tax returns

Liaising with HMRC and clients to resolve queries

Supporting senior team members on tax planning and compliance projects

Maintaining accurate records and databases

Staying updated with tax legislation and industry developments

Person Requirements –

Ideally ATT/AAT part or fully qualified with at least 2+ years’ experience working in a similar tax focused role with personal and corporate tax obligations working for a UK based firm.

Proficient in the use of various tax and accounting software g/tax software
