Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

Responsibilities:

– Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
– Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Iris, Xero etc to maintain accurate financial records.
– Prepare financial statements and reports for review by senior management.
– Oversee financial services and provide guidance on financial management practices.
– Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
– Mentor junior staff members in accounting principles and practices.

Experience:

– Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting.
– Proficiency in using accounting software such as Iris, and PeopleSoft.
– Strong knowledge of financial services and management practices.

– Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accountancy practice
– Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Professional certification ACCA qualified
