Senior System Engineer

Job description
We’re seeking a Senior Systems Engineer near Northampton, to help deliver high-performance, mission-critical RF systems. This is a technically hands-on and strategically important role, contributing across the full product lifecycle - from requirements capture and systems architecture to performance analysis and verification.

As a Senior Systems Engineer you will work across CommTech’s three key capability areas:
• Secure Tactical Datalinks
• Spectrum Monitoring Systems
• Battlespace Technologies (COMINT, HF DF, C-UAS, C-RCIED)

This position involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and demands strong systems thinking and leadership in technical delivery.

Key Requirements
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Proven expertise in systems engineering across the full development lifecycle
• Hands-on experience in system architecture, requirements capture, and verification
• Ability to lead and contribute to technical delivery and produce high-quality documentation
• Degree in engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Must be a British citizen or eligible for UK Security Clearance
