Job Overview

Account Originator

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for originating and managing a portfolio of accounts within the Coverage division. You will work closely with clients to identify potential opportunities and develop product solutions that meet their needs.

Responsibilities:
• Originate new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and developing relationships with key decision-makers.
• Develop and implement account plans to achieve business objectives and meet client needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product partners, credit risk, and operations to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Prepare marketing materials, pitch books, and other documents to support sales efforts.
• Visit and communicate with clients on behalf of the bank, ensuring effective relationship management.
• Prepare internal reports and updates, maintaining accurate records in CRM systems.
• Provide commercial activity status to coordination, facilitating pipeline management and cross-selling initiatives.
• Liaise with client service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and KYC processes.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in a related field, preferably in account origination or business development.

• Strong understanding of commercial lending and product offerings.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Ability to analyze complex data and develop strategic plans to achieve business objectives.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

• Familiarity with CRM systems and other operational tools.

Job Title: Senior Accountant

We are seeking a qualified accountant with a solid understanding of financial accounting, preferably with some experience in the property and real estate sector.
• Monthly Management Accounts Preparation:
• Preparation and review of the monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet for multiple properties.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in the financial statements, in line with company accounting policies and procedures.
• Business Partnering & Stakeholder Communication:
• Collaborate with Finance Managers in the UK and Operations teams to ensure the accuracy of monthly management accounts.
• Analyze financial results and variances, providing detailed explanations and addressing queries to enhance business understanding.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to clarify discrepancies and improve financial reporting processes.
• VAT Returns:
• Prepare and review VAT returns for the properties in compliance with local tax regulations.
• Property-Focused Financial Analysis:
• Support the financial management of a portfolio of properties, including a new fund with four properties and a Spanish property.
• Work closely with local teams to ensure that all financial and operational aspects are accurately reflected in the financial accounts.
• Experience:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in property or real estate accounting is preferred, but not a requirement.
• Language Skills:
• Intermediate Spanish proficiency (reading and writing) is essential, especially for the Spanish property.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, P&L, Balance Sheets, and VAT returns.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

The ideal candidate will be responsible for monthly management accounts preparation, collaborating with teams across various functions, and providing insights into financial variances. A proactive and detail-oriented approach to financial analysis and reporting is key to success in this role.
