A) Job Description

Responsible for creating detailed engineering designs, drawings, and documentation for water and wastewater treatment plants. Ensure technical accuracy and support project execution within timelines.

Prepare 2D/3D design drawings, layouts, and P&IDs using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Inventor, or equivalent software.

Develop GA drawings, equipment layouts, piping diagrams, and isometric drawings.

Assist in process design, equipment selection, and technical documentation for WTP/ETP/STP projects.

Coordinate with Project Engineers, Procurement, and Site Teams for design finalization and issue resolution.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and project requirements.

Support proposal and tender teams by preparing preliminary designs and BOQs.

Prepare as-built drawings post-project execution.

Participate in design reviews and provide technical inputs.

Ensure documentation control and maintain drawing records.

Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and practices.

B) Technical Skills Required

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil / Chemical Engineering.

2–5 years of experience in water & wastewater treatment plant design.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, AutoCAD Plant 3D, or similar design tools.

Strong understanding of piping design, plant layouts, and water treatment processes.

Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
