Requirements:
• Minimum Years of Experience: 3 year(s)
• Certifications: AMT or HEW. , ASCP, BLS
• Certs marked with are preferred
• Skills marked with are preferred
• Chemistry
• Exp in a Hospital clinical laboratory setting, Hematology, Coag, General Chemistry, ABO/Rh/Antibody Screen & ID, AHG Crossmatch, Antibody Typing: Tube Method, Blood banking procedures, Cold Agglutinins, Cord Blood Evaluation, Crossmatch-Immediate Spin/IgG, Direct Coombs (DAT), Indirect Coombs Test, Rhogam Screening, Transfusion Reaction Workup, Cardiac Enzymes, Hormone/Thyroid, Immunoassay, Review & Interpretation of QC, Specimen Preparation, Stool Analysis, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, Thyroid testing, Tumor Markers, Siemen`s Dimensions, Automated Instrument Use, CBC Manual, Manual Differential, Platelet Count, Sed Rate Manual, Culture plating, Gram Stain, Wet prep (WBC; Yeast; Trichomonas), Pipetting, Specimen Collection, Specimen Receipt, Specimen Transport, Reporting test results, Analyzer, Manual macroscopic UA, Microscopic UA, Blood specimen storage, Hazardous materials and MSDS, Proper disposal, Proper labeling, Quality assurance and controls, Transmission based precautions, Venipuncture, and MediTech LIS.
• Certs: ASCP, BLS, AMT or HEW
• Preferred Skills / Certs / Exp: Antigen Typing, 24 hour urine, Acetone Analysis, B-12 Folates, Bleeding time, Occult Blood, Reticulocyte Count, Body fluids, Aerobic culture, Anaerobic culture, Microbiology culture reading experience, Organism identification; Aerobic Anaerobic, Accessioning, Crystal identification, and Semen analysis.
