- Support development of 30–60 second highlight reels for company projects.
- Assist in creating training-style videos for internal onboarding or orientation.
- Recommend best tools for branding, animation, captions, and sound design.
- Review and provide feedback on videos my colleague produce herself.
- Share tips on maintaining brand consistency across all content.
Ideal Skills & Tools:
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Canva Pro.
- Experience creating videos for corporate/tech/engineering/aerospace industries is a plus.
- Strong grasp of motion graphics, clean transitions, and on-brand visuals.
- Ability to explain editing concepts clearly and provide hands-on mentorship.
- Familiar with social media video formats and best practices.
- Knowledge of simple automation tools for onboarding (e.g., voiceovers, captioning, screen recordings).
Requirements:
- Proven portfolio of short and long-form professional videos.
- Experience tutoring or mentoring beginners in video editing (formal or informal).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to provide constructive feedback.
- Ability to collaborate via Zoom, Google Meet, or screen sharing tools.
- Bonus: experience in creating instructional, training, or onboarding content.
Project Scope & Budget:
- Initial contract: 10–15 hours over 2–4 weeks
- $100-150/hr
- May expand into ongoing collaboration
- Open to hourly or fixed rate proposals
- Please include your portfolio and any example training videos or branded corporate content.
- It would be a great bonus if you’re from Mississauga and could possibly come into the office for occasional in-person guidance and training.
