Job Title: Python Testing

Location: Pune (Onsite)

Only Local Candidates from Pune will be considered

No relocation; No candidates from Southern regions or JNTU graduates

Experience: 6–7 Years

(Minimum 3+ years in Python & API Automation, and 1+ year in Behave)

Notice Period: Immediate Joiners or Candidates with Max 10–15 Days Notice

Salary: Up to ₹16 LPA

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and maintain automation frameworks for API testing using Python.
• Develop BDD test scenarios using Behave (Gherkin-based).
• Write and execute automated test scripts for RESTful APIs, ensuring end-to-end validation.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams for continuous quality improvement.
• Participate in code reviews, requirement analysis, and test coverage planning.
• Ensure timely identification, logging, and resolution of defects.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:
• Python: 3+ years of real-time experience in strong Python coding and scripting.
• API Automation: 3+ years of experience testing RESTful APIs using Python.
• Behave Framework: At least 1 year of hands-on experience using Behave for BDD testing.
• Tools & IDEs: Hands-on with Postman, Git, and must use PyCharm (mandatory for technical round).
• Strong understanding of test design techniques, debugging, and issue resolution.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
• Experience with Jenkins or any CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to Docker or other container tools.
• Familiarity with Jira/TestRail for test case and defect management.

Candidate Profile:
• Total Experience: 6–7 Years (Python – 3+ yrs, API – 3+ yrs, Behave – 1+ yr)
• Must be currently based in Pune — no relocation support provided.
• Immediate joiners preferred or candidates serving notice period of 10–15 days.
• Strictly avoid:

Interview Process:
• Technical Interview (TI) – Includes coding tasks and API automation challenges
• Managerial Interview (MI) – Focus on problem-solving, communication, and project exposure
